Amber Fort in the morning (reach early to beat the heat and the crowds), Jal Mahal photo stop on the way back, then City Palace and Jantar Mantar in the afternoon.
2
Day 2 — Hawa Mahal + Nahargarh

On the way
Food, tea & facilities
Eat your way through the old city. Lassi on MI Road first thing, kachori at Rawat when the hunger hits, thali near the bazaars by evening.
Famous food stops
- •Lassiwala, MI Road — Jaipur's famous lassi
- •Rawat Mishtan Bhandar — kachori
- •Old-city eateries around Johari Bazaar
Tea & coffee
Old-city chai stalls are everywhere and cost next to nothing. C-scheme and MI Road have the sit-down cafes.
Wine shops
Licensed shops across the city, and the heritage hotels run proper bars. Nothing on the highways, as usual.
Restrooms & Sulabh Shauchalaya
Sulabh complexes across the city. Amber Fort and the big sights have public facilities, though queues build on weekends.
