Day 1 — Delhi → Amritsar
Morning drive up NH-44. Evening at the Golden Temple — the complex is most beautiful after dark, and the langar hall serves everyone.

Day 2 — Amritsar sightseeing
Jallianwala Bagh in the morning, old-city food walk midday, and the Wagah Border ceremony in the late afternoon — leave early, it gets crowded.
3
Day 3 — Amritsar → Delhi
A quiet morning revisit to the temple if you like, then the drive back to Delhi with a dhaba halt on the highway.

Amritsar runs on food. Kesar Da Dhaba is an institution, and the kulcha shops near Hall Bazaar are a religious experience. Break the Delhi drive at Murthal.
