Overview

About this property

Corbett Riverside Resort is the older name of a resort at Dhikuli, Ramnagar, on the edge of Corbett country. Its old website, corbettriverside.com, now redirects to aahma.com, where the resort operates as Riverside by Aahma. If you search for the old name and land on the new site, you are in the right place.

The resort's own gallery shows a stone entrance, green resort buildings and riverside dining on the riverbank — the photos in this page come from that official gallery. The dining photos are the clearest evidence of what the resort offers: meals by the river, in the open, with the Corbett landscape around.

One warning matters more than any feature list. The resort's own site says its Google business listing has been hacked, and tells readers to book only through official channels. We repeat that here because it protects you: use the official site's booking link on this page, and do not trust a phone number or booking link from a search result that does not match it.

This page is shorter on detail than our other hotel pages, and that is deliberate. The resort's official pages do not list rooms, amenities or dining venues in words we can quote, so we do not invent them. Room types, restaurant names and facility lists that appear on third-party sites are not repeated here, because the official site does not confirm them.

One more thing about the name. This page keeps the name Corbett Riverside Resort because that is the name the tour and most travellers know, and the resort's old website still carries it in its redirect. The live brand is Riverside by Aahma, and both names point to the same Dhikuli resort — the redirect from the old site to aahma.com is the proof. If you book through the link on this page, you reach the resort's current official site.

Rooms

Rooms — check the official site

The resort's official pages do not publish a room list we can quote, so this section does not name room types. That is not a gap in our research — it is a gap in the official site, and we will not fill it with third-party claims.

The gallery photos show resort rooms with large beds and wooden details, and green buildings that look like a low-rise riverside resort. But photos alone do not tell us room names, sizes or prices, so we leave those to the official site.

One photo in the official gallery is worth a mention: the stone entrance carries a sign that reads Corbett Riverside Resort Wildlife Dos and Don'ts. It is a small sign, but it tells you the resort sits in real Corbett country, where park rules matter, and it matches the old name that many travellers still search for.

For the latest room types and prices, use the booking link on this page, which goes to the resort's official site. That is the only source we trust for this resort's rooms.

Food & drink

Riverside dining

The resort's official gallery shows riverside dining on the riverbank — tables by the water, in the open air. That is the one dining fact we can state from the official site itself, and it is a strong one: meals by the river are the resort's setting at its best.

The gallery does not name restaurants or list cuisines, so we do not name them either. Third-party sites list restaurant names for this resort, but the official site does not confirm them, and we do not repeat unconfirmed names.

For menus and meal timings, the resort's official site is the right place to check. Dhikuli has other eateries, but the riverside setting is the reason to eat at the resort.

Things to do

A day of safari and river

A good day at Corbett Riverside starts with a jungle safari, the main reason most guests come to Dhikuli. Corbett's zones are reached from Ramnagar, and safari permits open 45 days ahead — book the safari before the taxi, not after, and carry photo ID to the gate.

After the safari, the resort's riverbank is the place to rest. The gallery shows dining on the riverbank, and an afternoon by the river — watching the water, the trees and the birds — is the quiet half of a Corbett day.

In the evening, Garjia Temple near Dhikuli is the nearby spot worth a visit, and the Corbett Museum at Dhangarhi is the other classic stop. Both are on the Ramnagar side of the park and easy to reach from Dhikuli.

One practical note: book only through the resort's official site. The resort's own site warns that its Google listing was hacked, so a search result's phone number or booking link may not be the resort's. The booking link on this page goes to the official site.

Location

Where it is, and what is near

Ramnagar is the gateway town for Jim Corbett, on the Kosi river at the edge of the forest. The town itself is small and busy, with the railway station, markets and the road to the safari gates. Most Corbett resorts sit in a belt around it — Dhikuli and Garjiya to one side, Marchula further up the Ramganga valley.

The Garjia Devi temple on the Kosi, a short drive from town, and the Corbett Museum at Dhangarhi gate are the two sights visitors most often add to a safari. The Kosi riverbed near Garjiya is a popular evening walk.

Getting here

How to reach the hotel

From Delhi, the road runs via Moradabad and Kashipur to Ramnagar, about 258 km. Ramnagar has its own railway station, which is how many visitors arrive before a taxi takes them to their resort.

Resorts at Dhikuli and Garjiya are a short drive from Ramnagar town. Tell your driver the resort name, not just 'Corbett', since similarly named resorts sit in different directions from town.

Safari permits open 45 days ahead and are checked against photo ID at the gate. Book the safari before the taxi, especially for weekends.

Best time

Best time to visit Ramnagar

November to June is the best time for the Corbett region, with pleasant weather for safaris and riverside evenings. Winter mornings are cold in open jeeps, so carry warm clothes.

Safari zones shut in the monsoon, from July to September. The town and resorts stay open, but wildlife days are not possible in those months.

Good to know

Before you book

Ramnagar is a working town, not a resort enclave. Expect town traffic near the station and market, and a quieter road once you turn toward Dhikuli or the gates.

Carry cash for small expenses around town, and keep your safari permit and photo ID together — you will need both at the gate.

If you are staying on the Kosi bank, follow the resort's guidance near the water. River levels change with the season.

The resort's own site warns that its Google business listing has been hacked. Book only through the official site — the booking link on this page goes there.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Is Corbett Riverside Resort the same as Riverside by Aahma?

Yes. The old site corbettriverside.com redirects to aahma.com, where the resort operates as Riverside by Aahma. The booking link on this page goes to the official site.

Why does this page warn about booking?

The resort's own site says its Google business listing has been hacked, and tells readers to book only through official channels. We repeat the warning so you do not book through a fake listing.

Why does this page use two names?

Corbett Riverside Resort is the older, well-known name, and Riverside by Aahma is the current brand. The old website redirects to aahma.com, so both names point to the same Dhikuli resort. This page keeps the old name so travellers who search for it still find the right place.

How do I book a Corbett safari?

Safari permits open 45 days ahead and are booked through the forest department. Book the safari before the taxi, and carry photo ID to the gate.

Can I book this hotel through Cheapcab?

No. Cheapcab is a taxi service. You book the hotel on its official website using the Book button on this page. Cheapcab only arranges your taxi.

Is breakfast included in the room price?

That depends on the room type and the offer you pick. Breakfast rules change with the season, so please check them on the hotel's official website before you book. We do not want to give you old information here.
